State Duma postpones reading of sanctions fulfillment ban draft
MOSCOW, May 17 (PRIME) -- The State Duma, parliament’s lower chamber, postponed the second reading of a bill introducing criminal persecution for fulfillment of the sanctions against Russia on Thursday.
Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the house needs additional consultations on the bill.
On Tuesday, the State Duma approved the bill in the first reading. The bill encompasses imprisonment for up to four years and fines of up to 600,000 rubles.
